Ridgemoor is a private 18-hole, par 72, 6700-yard course located in northeastern Illinois in Cook County. Their 57 bunkers underwent a face lift in 2001-02 to improve maintenance, aesthetics and course strategy. Some bunkers had grass "fingers" rolled into them creating capes and bays. The Championship tees are rated at 73.1 with a slope of 135. The White tees are 6,300 yards long and carry a rating of 71.3 and a 130 slope while the Red tees play 5,400 yards long with numbers of 66.8 and 118.
