Rock Falls

Rock Falls is located in Whiteside County about 45 miles southwest of Rockford between Moline and Dixon along Interstate 88 on the banks of the Rock River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 9,357, a decrease of 312 since 1990.

Nearby outdoor recreation includes outings to Green River SFWA 15 miles to the southeast, Prophetstown State Park 15 miles to the southwest and Morrison-Rockwood State Park 15 miles west-northwest of town.
