The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 23,627, an increase of 2,824 since 1990.One of the highlights of summer is the annual "Taste of Roselle", a 3-day event held the first weekend of August and featuring about 20 food vendors, 3 beer gardens, a carnival and a wide variety of live entertainment. In addition, a Bingo tent, including special "Children's Bingo" times, is a big hit.
