Saline River

The Saline River is located in southern Illinois and is 75.5 miles long, with tributaries that include the South, Middle and North Forks. Cities in the drainage area include Marion, Harrisburg, Eldorado, Equality and Shawneetown. The river, after passing through the eastern section of the Shawnee National Forest, empties into the Ohio River north of Cave-in-Rock State Park.
