Sullivan is located in central Illinois in
Moultrie County (of which it is the county seat) about 20 miles southeast of
Decatur along Highway 121 near the
Kaskaskia River and 11,000-acre
Lake Shelbyville.
Sullivan, the northern gateway to the Kaskaskia River SFWA, offers year-round activities. Hunt, fish, boat, water, ski, snowmobile, cross-country ski or hike through hundreds of acres of parks and wildlife areas. Go antiquing, visit the nearby Amish communities or spend the weekend at a bed and breakfast.
