Located on Sherman Blvd, this zoo houses more than 1,200 animals and birds from around the world on 42 acres. Animals from the East African plains roam freely on the 22 acre African grassland, which can be toured on an elevated boardwalk or in protected electric cars. The Indonesian Rain Forest includes Orangutan Valley and Tiger Forest. The petting zoo features more than 100 animals. An endangered species carrousel plus pony and miniature train rides are available.Open daily 9am-5pm, holidays 9am-6pm in April through October.
