Wishard Hospital includes: A Level One Trauma Center, Regional Burn Unit, Outpatient Surgery Services and a full range of Women's services including state-of-the-art maternity care and a special care nursery.
During the mid-1990's, Wishard Hospital was selected for three consecutive years as one of the Top 100 Performing Hospitals in the nation, and was the only hospital in Indiana to have received this designation three years in a row. That study ranked hospitals on eight measures which indicate high value to consumers through effective use of resources, efficient provision of care and high-quality outcomes.
