Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana opened in January of 1992 as one of the few freestanding rehabilitation hospitals in Indiana. RHI has the backing of two of the largest and most well respected organizations in the state: Clarian Health Partners and St. Vincent Hospitals & Health Services. RHI is a specialty based rehabilitation program, which means that RHI patients work with therapists and nurses trained in the treatment of their particular diagnosis. The vast majority of patients return to their home environment after discharge from RHI. RHI provides continuum of care throughout the rehabilitation process. This includes inpatient (both acute and subacute), specialty outpatient services and vocational evaluation and training. RHI has three convenient locations throughout the Indianapolis area.
