Evansville Dance Theatre

Evansville Dance Theatre, founded in 1981 by Jean Allenby, is a not-for-profit Ballet Company and a Performing Arts Training Institute, serving Evansville and the Tri-State communities. It provides high caliber dance training and develops each individual's dance potential, offers high quality educational outreach programs, serves as a resource to communities, their constituencies and the dance community at large, increases public awareness and appreciation of dance as a performing art, and produces and presents excellent dance performances, choreography and unique talents. The program provides five graded levels of Ballet instruction. Classes are also offered in Contemporary Dance, Hip-Hop, Pilates, Tap, and Jazz.
