Cashel

Cashel is a town in County County Tipperary, east of Tipperary and northwest of Clonmel. A notable feature of the countryside near Cashel is the Rock of Cashel, a limestone outcrop rising 200 feet above the plains and crowned with a magnificent set of ruins. The rock was the seat of the kings of Munster Province from about 370 until 1101.
