At Dublin Zoo they care deeply about animal conservation. Most of the animals have been born in captivity, such as the Snow Leopard, Flamingo, Gorilla and Golden Lion Tamarin. Spectacular new exhibits include: World of Cats, World of Primates, Fringes of the Arctic and City Farm. as of the summer of 2000, Dublin Zoo it has the new exhibit, 'African Plains,' a 30-acre site with the objective of providing a significantly larger and more naturalistic habitat for the animals.
