The European Club links are a combination of rugged dunes, deep bunkers, sea breezes and large undulating greens with fast-running fairways, greens that invite the pitch-and-run approach, and acres of tall, waving marram grass. Archaic features such as the blind shot have been banished from the agenda with fourteen holes offering a tee-to-green vista; and the landing area for the drive is clearly visible on the others.
