The 1,000 acre farm at Tully, a Stud Farm since 1900, is home to Ireland's finest thoroughbreds. A Horse Museum traces the history of the horse in Ireland using artifacts, illustrations, text and the skeleton of the legendary steeplechaser 'Arkle'. The Japanese Gardens, on the grounds of the Stud Farm, were created 1906-1910. They symbolize the 'Life of Man' from the cradle to the grave. St. Fiacre's Garden (named for the patron saint of gardeners) was designed as a Millennium project and seeks to capture the power of the Irish landscape in its rawest state, that of rock and water.
