High above Newtownards is the stone tower which dominates the North Down landscape. The fine beech woodlands of Killynether Wood, which flank it, contrast with the hazel wood on the other side of the hill but both reveal a wide range of birdlife and colourful wild flowers. The Park is open all year. Tower, mid-June - end-September (ex Fri) 11am - 6.30pm. Easter & Bank holidays 11am - 6pm. Groups by arrangement at other times.
