Holy-Field Vineyard and Winery is within a short distance of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, Overland Park, and Lawrence. The winery offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for the visitors to enjoy fine wines and specialty gifts from the gift shop. The wines are fermented, aged and bottled in the cellars beneath the tasting room. The winery offers a top quality selection of wines for all to appreciate. Private tastings are available for parties of 15 or more. The Vineyard Room and Wine Deck overlooking the vineyard are available for large parties, receptions and meetings. Walking vineyard tours will be conducted on summer weekends by appointment.

Heart of America Shakespeare Festival Kansas City MO June18-July7 The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is set under the stars in South Moreland Park near Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. It is a perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends. They have several programs to study and explore such as Speaker's Bureau and Poster and Sonnet Contest. The faculty includes theatre professionals, actors, and educators experienced in performing and teaching Shakespeare. Many of the instructors are veterans of festival productions.
