Amelia Earhart Birthplace

The home overlooking the Missouri River is where Amelia Earhart was born and where she lived until the age of 12. The 1859 Victorian cottages on the bluffs of the Missouri River was owned by Earhart's grandparents and is thought to be the oldest house in Atchison. The house contains photographs, newspaper clippings and some of Earhart's belongings.
