South East of Augusta in the Southeast Region of the state. Butler State Fishing Lake is a 124 acres in the flint hills of Butler County. Ammenities include: restrooms, picnic tables, some with shades, and a boat dock. Boating (for fishing) and camping are both allowed. There are three fishing piers that extend out into the lake to assist anglers access to the middle of the lake. The land around the lake is also open to public hunting.

Species of fish in the lake: Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Channel Catfish, and Wipers.
