Located next to one of the largest and best fishing lakes in the state, Glen Elder State Park offers outstanding fishing opportunities, as well as sports, water sports and boating. A marina is available for use. A fish cleaning station is also provided.
One of the newest features of the park, the Waconda Heritage Village, was moved to the park in 1994, features the historic Hopewell Church.
