Goodland High Plains Museum |
America's first patented helicopter was built in Goodland by Purvis and Wilson in 1910. A full-size, automated replica is on display at the museum, along with a 1902 Holsman rope-driven automobile, pioneer and railroad memorabilia, and prehistoric artifacts and fossils. Dioramas depict scenes from Goodland's history.
