In 1961 Labette County Medical Center opened to serve the citizens of Southeast Kansas whom they serve.

They remain focused on the future by stepping up efforts in physician recruitment. Specialists in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics have recently been added to LCMC's medical staff.
