Satanta District Hospital

Satanta District Hospital was established in 1952 serving the community with 13 licensed beds. In 1999, the Long Term Care Unit and a portion of the Hospital plant were remodeled to provide a fresh and modernized look along with increasing the capacity of the Long Term Care Unit to 35 beds.

Satanta District Hospital provides a variety of services to citizens of Haskell County and surrounding communities, such as: medical-surgical care, emergency services, surgical services, intermediate and skilled swing bed care, long-term care and durable medical equipment sales and service. Additionally, both in-patient and outpatient services are provided in the following areas of expertise: laboratory, respiratory, radiology, physcial therapy, nutrition, community health, restorative care and social services. Satanta District Hospital also operates two rural health clinics, one of which is located in Satanta, as well as one in Sublette, Kansas.
