Moundridge is located in McPherson County. Nestled in Central Kansas, just about 2 miles from the main north-south artery, I-135, lies the town of Moundridge and situated in the "Golden Triangle" formed by Wichita, Salina and Hutchinson. Moundridge offers not only rural comfort but global connections.
To the Southwest, the Little Arkansas River runs in a SE direction and to the northeast, the Cottonwood River flows into Marion Lake. Marion Lake is excellent for walleye fishing. In addition, hunting, hiking, camping, wind surfing, boating, swimming, surf bathing, bird watching and picnicking are available at this large U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake in the center of Marion County. Marion Lake, (Reservoir) encompasses 6,200 acres of water, surrounded by another 6,000 acres of public lands.
