Located on the shores of the Keith Sebelius Reservoir in northwest Kansas, this state park contains a thriving prairie dog town. The park is complete with more than forty electrical hookups, boat ramps, trails, and a marina. The 2000 acre lake is well known for its excellent boating. Norton Wildlife Area surrounds the lake and offers 6500 acres for hunting, nature watching, and exploring. Two vintage 1800s buildings, including the only adobe house on its original site in Kansas, provide a bit of local history.
