Chase County, in the heart of the beautiful Flinthills on the Scenic Byway, Highway 177. The city itself is famous for its rodeo each summer. The rodeo is one of the first and largest P.R.C.A. approved rodeos in the nation. It attracts over 20,000 visitors in the first week of June and draws contestants from all over the world. The parade travels from
Cottonwood Falls to Strong City, the two communities being one mile apart.
