Located on
Frankfort Avenue, this printing house was founded in 1858, and is one of the world's largest and oldest non-profit companies creating products for visually impaired people. Visitors are invited to take a plant tour and/or visit the museum which is housed in the historic 1883 section of the facility. The Museum displays embossed books, early mechanical braille writers and tactile maps and globes along with a hands-on area where visitors can write their name in braille.
