This 374-acre mixed habitat facility of the National Audubon Society includes a bird blind and three well marked nature trails along the Kentucky River. A nature center offers exhibits, educational programs and scheduled events. Trail booklets and maps are also available.
Open year-round, the site offers environmental programs, workshops, bird blind observations, and guided hikes. Tours are offered. A picnic area is available; pets are not permitted on the sanctuary grounds. Closed January and February, as well as Mondays, Tuesdays and holidays.
