Duncan House

Duncan House is a gracious old, (1783 ), home situated near the Kentucky Horse Park. It is a 2 story brick Federal style home and is registered on the Kentucky Heritage Council. With 3 rooms, 7 fireplaces and 5 porches. Rooms have queen size beds and private baths. Smoking permitted on porches or in the garden areas. Pets are not allowed, children accepted with notice.

In the morning, wake to the aroma of fresh coffee just outside your bedroom's door. When your appetite awakes, a full gourmet breakfast can be served in several places. In the dining room, breakfast is served on fine heritage china and crystal with soft music in the background. During warm weather, it is very delightful to be served breakfast on the garden porch while watching the many songbirds that frequent the garden feeders. If the morning is a bit chilly, perhaps breakfast in the kitchen with a fire in the original 1783 fireplace would warm body and soul.
