Kentucky Wildlife Center

Located off Game Farm Road, this center comprises a recreational complex and the Salato Wildlife Education Center, which features exhibits focusing on Kentucky's fish and wildlife. Mounted specimens of local birds and mammals are on display, and an aquarium contains native fish. A nature trail leads to enclosures housing non-releasable animals including bald eagles, elk, wild turkeys, white-tail deer and buffaloes. Picnicking is permitted.

Open Tuesday through Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 1pm-6pm in May through October; hours vary the rest of the year.
