Located on Blankenbaker Lane, this became the retirement home in 1809 of George Rogers Clark, frontiersman and Revolutionary War general. The restored 1790 Georgian mansion is furnished in period. The plantation includes nine outbuildings and an 18th century border garden.
The mansion's distinguised visitors included three Presidents, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson and Zachary Taylor; Meriwether Lewis; Aaron Burr and John James Audubon. A visitor center is available.
