Located on West Main Street, this science center is housed in a restored, five story, 19th century former warehouse and features 40,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits and a four-story theater. Permanent exhibits include The World We Create, which celebrates how science and math affect every aspect of life and KidZone, a hands-on exhibit area for children under 8. Other exhibits highlight space exploration, Egyptian culture, natural history and health.
Open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday noon-5pm; closed major holidays.
