Located in Lexington, Ky., Central Baptist Hospital offers some of the most advanced medical facilities, technologies and capabilities available in the region. Since opening in 1954, they have been committed to finding better ways to serve the people of Kentucky's Bluegrass area. What began 49 years ago as a 173-bed community hospital is now a 371-bed major medical research and education center.

Today, Central Baptist has one of the busiest and most respected heart programs in the commonwealth. They perform more than 9,000 catheterizations and 1,700 open heart procedures a year. Their Cancer Care Center offers a full range of services, from chemotherapy to clinical trials. Their family-centered obstetrics program delivers some 4,000 babies a year. Their assisted reproduction program has helped hundreds of infertile couples have babies. In fact, they pride themselves on being the facility of choice for families in central and eastern Kentucky.
