This aquarium is located on the
Mississippi River and is a two-story structure housing more than 10,000 specimens representing some 530 species of marine life found throughout the Americas. Visitors can see sharks, stringrays, red-bellied piranhas, white alligators, black-footed penguins and endangered sea turtles. Exhibits include a 400,000-gallon Gulf of Mexico display and a Caribbean Reef tunnel. The Amazon Rainforest exhibit is complete with waterfalls and tropical birds.
