The commune of Tuntange, population 1,028, is located in central Luxembourg, 12 kilometers northwest of Luxembourg City. The Eisch River flows through the south of Tuntange, forming the border for two kilometers or so.
Ansembourg, Bour, Hollenfels, Marienthal, and Tuntange (population 582) are boroughs within the commune of Tuntange.
The N12 roadway passes through the center of Tuntange proper.
