The commune of Wormeldange, population 2,278, is located along the
Moselle river, on Luxembourgs border with Germany, and 18 kilometers due east of
Luxembourg City. Wormeldange is a wine-making town; the specialty is Riesling. Wormeldange is also noted for St. Donat's Church, on a plateau above the town center.

The N10 roadway, along the Mosel riverfront, passes through Wormeldange.
