A quiet retreat on the shore, The Bishops offers panoramic views of the cove, the coastline and the sea. The scenic location is one of the finest in Marblehead. This mid-1800's cottage was renovated in 1997 to accommodate three guest rooms. The Landfall, the first-floor suite, has a king or twin beds, dressing room and full bath, large sitting area with cable TV, and a private entrance through the adjacent greenhouse; second private entrance to yard overlooking the ocean at Brown's Island. The second-floor guest rooms, The Mistress with a queen-sized bed, and The Neptune, with double bed, share a bath. Each room has TV and gorgeous views of Little Harbor. The first floor sitting room, with cable TV and casual atmosphere, allows relaxation with coffee and newspaper in the morning. Ample off-street parking is available and a continental breakfast is served in the sunny kitchen.
