The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA) is a museum of cultural history that collects and preserves buildings, landscapes, and objects dating from the seventeenth century to the present and uses them to help people develop a deeper understanding and enjoyment of New England life. The society owns and operates 35 historic properties in five New England states. The carefully preserved buildings and landscapes tell the stories of the people who have called New England home over the past three centuries. Historic New England items are available to the public including furnishings, wall coverings, fabrics, glassware, decorative accessories, paper products, and jewelry.
