With fly rods and light tackle, they pursue fish on Nantucket's sand flats, grass beds, rips and shoals, and off the pristine beaches of Tuckernuck and Muskeget Island. Sight fishing the flats is a specialty of the charters. They hunt for sand eels, squid, crabs, and other baitfish. The Rusty Fly, an 18 foot Hews light tackle skiff, is customized for saltwater fly fishing. The Thomas W is a 25' down east that carries up to 6 anglers, and is for blue water fly fishing.
