Nantucket Massachusetts

Nantucket is located in Nantucket County (of which it is the county seat) Off Cape Cod to the south, it is connected by the Hyannis Port Ferry near Tuckernuck Island. Nantucket is the principal town on Nantucket Island. It is the island terminus for ferry connections to the mainland.

Much of Nantucket's charm is associated with its cobblestoned main street, small lanes, plain Quaker-style homes and handsome houses that date from the whaling days of the early 19th century.

Parking in Nantucket is limited, ferries (leaving from Hyannis) and public transportation are recommended.
