Fruitlands Farmhouse is where Bronson Alcott and leaders of the transcendentalist movement attempted a new social order in 1843; features include letters and memorabilia from the leaders. A Shaker Museum is housed in an 18th century building and contains Shaker furniture and artifacts.
The Indian Museum displays dioramas and examples of North American Indian Art.
