King Hooper Mansion |
This mansion commemorates William Hooper, a native of Boston, an alumnus of Harvard University, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence as a delegate from North Carolina.
The 1728 building was enlarged in 1747, when a facade was added, and contains a wine cellar and a ballroom. Artworks are exhibited.
The Marblehead Arts Association is located in this building.
