Located on Jackson St, this park commemorates the history of this mill city.
Lawrence's mills once produced 800 miles of cloth a day through the labor of thousands of immigrants, who made history during the Bread and Roses Strike of 1912. This strike sparked the American labor movement, bringing about national reforms of laws governing workers' rights.
The visitor center, in a restored workers' boarding house, contains exhibits about the city's history, architecture and daily life.
A gallery features changing art and historical exhibits.
Park open daily, dawn until dusk. Visitor Center open daily 9am-4pm.
