Lexington is located in
Middlesex County on the NW edge of Greater
Boston between Bedford and
Arlington along Highway 2A. Lexington is the site of the first conflict of the Revolutionary War, dramatized on the Lexington Battle Green during the re-enactment of the Battle of Lexington in mid-April. Portions of Battle Road, the route used by British and American soldiers moving from Concord to Boston, are now covered by scenic Hwy 2A. Lexington is part of the
