Located on Washington St, this downtown center, a separate part of the nearby waterfront state park, explores the history of Lynn and the people who built it. A 10 minute audio-visual presentation provides background information about the community, and exhibits depict important events in the city's industrial past, from its shoe manufacturing roots to its present day production of jet engines. Open Wednesday - Sunday 9:30am-4:30 pm. Closed January 1, Thanksgiving and December 25.
