Massachusetts Maritime Academy

Since its beginnings in 1891, Massachusetts Maritime Academy has been offering women and men an opportunity for exciting and rewarding careers on land and sea. The 4-year study program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree, a Merchant Marine Officer's License, and a Naval Officer's Commission (optional). Part of the training includes travel to foreign ports aboard a training ship which the cadets operate under the supervision of seasoned professionals.

The student body of more than 800 is housed on a 55-acre campus in college dormitories all 4 years.
