The Town of Buzzards Bay is in Barnstable County, 19 miles S of Plymouth. It is located at the entrance to Buttermilk Bay and near the entrance to Cape Cod on the Massachusetts coastline at Buzzards Bay off US 6. Nearby are Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Wareham, Bourne, and Sagamore.
