Pittsfield

Pittsfield is located in Berkshire County (of which it is the county seat) 50 miles NW of Springfield between Dalton and the New York state line along Highway 7/20 on the banks of the Housatonic River near Onota Lake. Pittsfield is credited with the creation of the county fair.
