John Dewey Academy is a co-educational college preparatory boarding school with a strong therapeutic component. It provides intensive, individualized instruction and therapy to alienated, angry, and self-destructive adults. Academic year at John Dewey is divided into three semesters. Course offerings vary each semester, depending on the needs and interests of the student body and faculty. Group and individual therapy and counseling are provided. Importance is given to parental and family involvement.
