Harvard University's Memorial Hall houses a memorial transept containing extensive glass windows, stenciled walls and 28 marble tablets bearing the names of 136 Harvard asociates who fell fighting for the Union during the American Civil War. The hall, which also includes Sanders Theatre, is typically open to the public for viewing between noon and 6 p.m.
