St. Michael's Church |
This church was built in 1714 and remodelled in 1833 in Gothic Revival style. One of the oldest Episcopal churches in America, it still has an original elaborate brass chandelier from England. The bell, rung at the news of the Declaration of Independence until it cracked, was recast by Paul Revere and is still used.
