West Springfield Massachusetts

West Springfield is located in Hampden County. As its name suggests, this town is located just west of Springfield. The town boasts many historic sites including the Josiah Day House on Park St. This house was built in 1754 and was occupied by the Day family until 1902. It is thought to be the oldest brick saltbox house in the nation. Furnishings depict the lifestyles of the family from 1700-1900. West Springfield is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts metro area.
